In the Pink

This body of work (2021 – 2023) centers around themes of nostalgia, youthful abandon, and risk. Vivid images of suggestive, irresponsible behavior are rendered in aggressive, monochrome neon pinks as large-format figurative paintings, portraits, and still lifes.

The aesthetic language and imagery work in consort to conjure disorientation, the hazy fever dream when you’re still out at 3:30 in the morning.

These works have been featured in solo and group exhibitions including at the infamous 188 Allen Gallery, Solas Studios, The New York Spy Museum Art Gallery, NS1 Upper East Side, The Jamaican Art Center, The Local LIC, and Sour Mouse LES.
